Every figure comes from the ERA5-Land 1991-2025 historical period and describes one selected model-grid cell 0.1 degrees across. It is expressly not a weather forecast, not a statement about a specific route, and not a statement about a whole region.
Anyone planning a walk must inform themselves before setting out, from official sources: the current forecast, the avalanche bulletin, trail and hut conditions, closures, permits, and their own government's travel advice. Hiking and mountain activity carry risks that each person bears on their own responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for decisions made on the basis of this website or for any loss arising from them.
Liability for content
As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law, in accordance with § 7(1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the point at which a specific infringement becomes known. We remove such content immediately once we become aware of it.
The calculations on this site are reproducible and versioned. Despite careful checking, no warranty is given for the accuracy, completeness or currency of the values shown.

The European Commission shut down its online dispute resolution platform on 20 July 2025, so no link to it is given.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board under the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG).
